Practice set-up
3v2 objective for the defenders recover the ball and pass to the teammate outside. After 2 ball recoveries swap position with the defender outside. Change of teams role after time.

4v4+1, objective maintain ball possession. If defenders recover they maintain possession. 4 zones: in attack use 4, in defense 2-3.
Key coaching points
-Space management to master inside and outside play.
-In defence: 1 press the ball 2 cover passing lines.
-Support movements, offer passing lines to player with ball.
-Change of mind, speed in the transitions.


Practice set-up
Rondos 3v1 and strength-endurance work. Team that loses the ball has to run until the stick before defending. Team that was defending maintains in the free zone.

Practice set-up
4v4 2 zones. A team maintains ball possession in his side, 3 opponents press and 1 stays in his side to receive after recovering, pass back and shot to small goals.

8v6 in one zone, when defenders recover the ball pass it to their teammates of their zone and maintain the ball possession there and 6 of the other team defend.

Blues maintain possession of the ball. Reds defend in groups of 4 players during 1 minute then swap. 1 minute defend - 1 minute rest for 8 minutes per team. If reds recover finish in small goals. Count recoveries and goals of defending team.

-Maximum effort in the minute of defensive moment.

Practice set-up
6+2v6+2. Maintain ball possession and try to connect with the teammates in the jails to work switching the play. When the player in the jail receives swap position with the player that made the pass.

-Attract defenders on one side to progress to the other side.
-Combination triangles to maintain the ball and switch the play.

4v1 dynamic rondos. Player that loses the ball has to go to defend to the free rondo running between the sticks ont he middle.

6v3 2 zones. A 5v2 is played in the ball side with the objective of playing back and deep with the player on the other side. Then players move to that zone to maintain with the same structure.

-When switching to the other side fast movements to offer passing lines and keep the ball.
